1. The service
MSG Connect supplies hosted software for business and trade users to manage connected operational records. Features may evolve as the service is improved. These terms apply together with the Privacy Notice, Cookie Notice and Data Processing Terms.
2. Company accounts and authorised users
The person creating a workspace confirms that they are authorised to act for the company. Workspace owners are responsible for their users, permissions, accurate account information and keeping login credentials secure. Individual accounts must not be shared.
3. Plans, trial and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly at the price shown at checkout, plus VAT where applicable. Starter includes its advertised first free month. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Plan limits are monitored and the service may request an upgrade before additional records or storage can be added.
Customers can manage billing and cancellation through the account area. Changes, renewal dates and any amount due are shown before confirmation. Failure to pay may result in restricted or paused access after reasonable notice.
4. Your data
The subscribing company retains responsibility for and rights in the operational information it enters. It must have a lawful basis to collect and use that information and must not upload content it has no right to process. MSG Connect processes workspace data to provide, secure, support and recover the service in accordance with the Data Processing Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use MSG Connect unlawfully; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with security or availability; upload malicious material; misuse public labels; infringe another person’s rights; or use the service to store information that is excessive or unrelated to legitimate business operations.
6. Availability, maintenance and backups
We aim to provide a reliable service but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, provider outages or events outside reasonable control may affect access. Recovery backups support service continuity but do not replace the customer’s responsibility to retain exports of critical records where appropriate.
7. Suspension, cancellation and deletion
A workspace may be paused for non-payment, security risk, serious misuse or breach of these terms. Customers may cancel through their account. We will explain the applicable end date and provide a reasonable opportunity to export information unless access must be restricted immediately for legal or security reasons.
8. Responsibility and changes
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. MSG Connect is not responsible for the accuracy of customer-entered records, decisions made from those records, third-party equipment or failures outside its reasonable control. Any material change to these terms will be communicated with reasonable notice.
Before launch: these operational terms should be reviewed with the service provider’s registered details, governing-law clause, liability limits and support commitments.
