Account setup
Create and activate your workspace
Register your company, verify the owner’s details and wait for MSG Connect approval. After approval, sign in and choose your subscription from My account → Subscription.

Customer records
Add your first customer
Open Customers, select Add customer, then enter the company or contact details. Add the head-office address and an optional photograph so the customer is easy to recognise.

Site records
Create the customer’s property
Open the customer and select the Properties tab. Add a property, copy the customer’s address when appropriate, or search and edit a different site address. Include access notes and a site photograph.

Infrastructure
Add an installed system
Choose the property, open Systems and select Add system. Pick the system category and type; MSG Connect generates a reference such as BGC-NVR-001. Record the manufacturer, model, firmware, location and network details.

Equipment
Add the devices within the system
Open the new system and add its individual devices. Fields adapt for electrical, security, data and fire equipment. Photograph the manufacturer’s label and keep serial, IP, MAC, circuit or breaker information with the correct device.

Identification
Generate and apply a smart label
Create a QR/NFC-ready label from the system or device page. Review the safe public destination, then print, download or email the label. A public scan shows identification information without exposing private customer or network data.

Add documents and service visits
Upload certificates, manuals and supporting files to the relevant record. Log maintenance, repair or inspection visits with the engineer, date, work completed and system involved so the full history stays connected.

Invite staff and manage the workspace
Use My account to add staff, update their contact information or remove access. Manage billing under the Subscription tab. If assistance is needed, open Support to raise a request and follow its replies and status.
